save your sanity day...

Make a gift of your life and lift all mankind by being kind, considerate, forgiving, and compassionate at all times, in all places, and under all conditions, with everyone as well as yourself.-Dr. David R. Hawkins

Are you receiving messages from those who have passed on to the spirit world at times it's really inconvenient or bugging you? The departed ones don't mean to be annoying, they're just so delighted that you're a medium and aware of them. A teacher once suggested making
an appointment time (and keeping it) for the people who would like to come through to tell their story, pass on messages, etc. I was receiving messages so randomly at all hours of the day and night and it was getting overwhelming and tiresome. I felt guilty that I was not able to help them all and it never occurred to me to set an appointment time with spirit as you would with people in the physical world.

Every day I meditate at least once a day and allow departed spirits to come through then, if they wish. Departed loved ones were once in physical form and get that they need an appointment with you - the medium! Departed loved ones of clients come through during readings or during a healing session, but not when I'm giving a chi ball attunement, for example.

Gently speak with the departed spirits and state your intention to help them during a certain time(whatever fits your schedule and life). You'll discover that you'll receive their messages more clearly, easily and feel less stress or guilt. They will show up for sure and you may still receive messages at other times when someone's energy is persistent but normally, they will respect your wishes. Let them know when you're available and when you're not. Taking a break will also give your energetic, physical, mental and emotional bodies a rest, especially at night.

Consider creating a signal. Think of a word, give a physical sign or say a prayer to send as a signal to them that you're ready for communication or done for the day.

I encourage you to take a deep breath, acknowledge your gifts and enjoy being of service to others.

Invite your spirit back home...

Knit caps made for Craft Hope Project #21 Rally for Roma
One of the ways I invite my spirit back home during a stressful day is to knit or crochet for charity.   Creative activities are a wonderful way to call back your spirit and allow you to enjoy a fully balanced six sensory life. Keep it all simple and stress free.

I enthusiastically encourage you to make it a point to enjoy your beautiful six sensory life as you explore your creativity.

Dance, sing, repeat and bring your spirit home.

Knowing is just the beginning...

SixSensoryBeing blogspot
This past weekend, I posted a tweet about looking for the signs our departed loved ones leave for us.  Today, I thought I would expand on that idea and share with you a post I wrote recently for livepsychicanswers concerning messages from our departed loved ones.

We all have to learn to accept the beautiful messages from the spirit world, even when they aren't exactly what we want or expect to receive.  Messages from the loving spirit world are meant to help us heal, grow into our spiritual path, and understand that love is what it's all about in life and the afterlife.

Many years have passed since my mother died , but she was able to give me a strikingly unusual sign for me around the time of her death. Our dog, Molly, always left some kibble behind in her bowl and that day it was lined up in a particular way on the towel beneath her dog bowl.  This was not a prank or a unique trick, but I already knew by the way it was done that it was my mom stopping by. She had done this for Molly when she was a small puppy. Dave and  I were on the west coast at the time and did not make it back before mom died.  This troubled me because I was the third child and a bit of a miracle baby.  I grew up hearing from friends and family that I would be the one to care for her and hold her hand at the end.

A few months ago, Mom came to me in my dreams and left a rather firm and loud message along with the image of the beautiful Christmas cactus plant in our home.  This plant was the last present  we received from her before she died.  Every Christmas and Easter since, it has bloomed like clockwork without any special care.  I always knew my mom was probably around me at those times, but I never really felt her energy in the same way I did other relatives. I have seen, felt and heard from my Dad and he has come through in readings for myself and others to help. Christmas and St Patrick's Day are both times when I sense or see him the most as these were significant holidays for him.

This year was different and  knowing my mom, she probably had a lot of catching up to do in the afterlife and is just now getting around to visiting in a more obvious way. (laughing)  There are many reasons, but I think mostly for myself, it was the timing.  She was always very present in life when I was struggling with major changes or problems and continues to do so in the afterlife.  I never doubted that she could hear me and have always kept her close in my heart.

Please know that your deceased relatives are there for you. The simple act of knowing will bring you closer to them.

Knowing is just the beginning for six sensory beings.

a share...

A share today...

One day, I had a reading for a very nice woman in much need of a message from her loved one who had recently passed away.  I was so honored to have the opportunity and was looking forward to being of service.  The night before the reading, our dog, Molly got sick and I was up the rest of the night with her.  I managed to get Molly to the vet, with the help of our neighbor, first thing the next morning.  We didn't have an emergency vet in the area and my husband was out of town with the car. I had extreme anxiety over this situation and was also concerned about reading for my client later on in the day.

I immediately asked for guidance and assistance. I began to feel calmer in the midst of the situation.  We had lost a dog earlier that year with similar symptoms and  I was extremely concerned, even with the excellent vet care that we always receive from the staff.  Our kind neighbor brought Molly and myself home just in time for the reading.

Spirit came through, the client received a beautiful message and all was well.  Why did I worry?  Normally, I don't have such a chaotic experience before a reading, but when it occured, I realized the importance of knowing that Spirit would step in and allow me to receive the message, no matter what was going on in my life.  Lesson learned! Message delivered!

Please know that the Holy Spirit is there for you no matter what you're facing.  Allow yourself to recieve help and take that leap of faith that all will unfold in a loving manner which is good for everyone involved.  "Pinkie swear" as we used to say when we were kids.

Have a beautiful six sensory day...begin by knowing you are loved.
